Ruth Limpers Scholarship Fund of IGFOA-(Illinois Government Finance Officers Assoc.)-Are you interested in government finance as a career? If so, this scholarship might be for you!

The Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA) is a statewide non-profit organization of government finance professionals that actively encourages awareness of government finance as a career. The Association’s mission is to promote excellence in government finance. Accordingly, the IGFOA implemented the Ruth Limpers Scholarship Fund (RLSF) program to award scholarships to students working towards a related degree (accountancy, finance, or any business-related degree as well as MBA and MPA degrees). Three scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each will be distributed annually, one in each of the following categories: Public Sector Member Student, Non-Public Sector Member Student & Non-Member Student and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Student. Eligible students are defined as both graduate and undergraduate students (including high school seniors/incoming freshman).
