Vincent J. Vittore Memorial Scholarship-Have you experienced hardships due to cancer or a cancer-related illness? If so, this scholarship may be for you.

The BTB Foundation began in 2002 by Tom and Bill Latourette. The mission of the BTB Foundation is to award financial assistance as well as provide emotional support to individuals from the Chicagoland area that experience hardships due to cancer or a cancer-related illness. To bring this into perspective, over the past 23 years, the BTB Foundation has given over 1.7 million dollars to 110 local families fighting cancer. In 2018, the foundation announced the creation of the Vincent J. Vittore Memorial Scholarship. Vince passed away in 2017 from a Glioblastoma brain tumor. This scholarship is in honor of the enthusiasm, humor and strength that Vince displayed during his life, for his love for family, friends and great journalism. The Vincent J. Vittore Memorial Scholarship will award two $5,000 scholarships for academic year 2025-2026.
