John and Melanie Frieburg ESL Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who meets the following criteria:
*Student currently studying ESL at Harper and who will continue to study ESL classes in the Fall semester.
*Awarded to a hard-working and highly motivated ESL (English as a Second Language) student with an excellent attendance record
*Student must have at least a grade of C in all current ESL classes
*Demonstrate financial need.
*Obtain 2 letters of recommendation – one letter should be from an ESL teacher and the other letter can be from either an employer, a member of the community, advisor, staff member at Harper, etc.
