VFW Post 981 Memorial Scholarship Grant-If you are a direct descendant of a veteran and are pursuing either college credit or vocational goals through a trade school, then this scholarship might be for you!

The fund will bestow two scholarship grants up to $3,000 for veterans or the direct lineage of honorably discharged veterans. Active military and Reserve members are included in this description. Preference will be given to residents in the Northwest suburban Cook County and adjacent areas in Lake County, with additional consideration to those towns and villages served by VFW Post 981.
