The work of a first responder is often dangerous. Firefighters, paramedics, and police officers are tasked with saving lives, no matter how dire the situation may be. Many first responders have been wounded, even killed, while fighting to protect other people. We have opened the Wounded First Responders Scholarship for injured first responders and their families looking to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.
