Veterans Benefit Scholarship - Give an example of one veterans benefit and explain how it helps senior veterans.

VeteranAid.org is pleased to announce its second annual Veterans Benefits Scholarship! See the scholarship page as well as the information on the A&A benefit.

VeteranAid.org offers detailed information on a veterans’ pension benefit called Aid and Attendance (A&A) that helps senior veterans pay for costs of care. If veterans or their spouses require assisted living care in a community or at home, VeteranAid.org gives them the information they need to apply for the A&A benefit themselves. This Aid and Attendance benefit can provide up to $2,127 per month to veteran applicants. We want to continue to urge college students to consider the sacrifices our military has made for our country and think about ways we can give back to and improve the ways we currently help the military men and women who have served the United States. This general scholarship is open to students enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. With your assistance spreading the news, we hope to make our scholarship available to as many eligible students as possible. Veterans and military are urged to apply for the scholarships, although it is open to all current college students. Please be sure to check out our announcement of last years’ winners.
