David K. Hill Memorial Scholarship

Math/Science – Awarded to a full or part-time student at Harper College with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher who is currently enrolled in a course within the Mathematics and Science Division. In addition, students must have already completed six hours of science or math at Harper College and must intend to pursue a Bachelors in Science Degree or the equivalent and transfer to an accredited program. The student must be engaged in the community through community service or student activities.

The submission of three letters of recommendation, two from Harper faculty is strongly encouraged, though not required.

Finalists must be available for a personal interview with the selection committee if requested.

You MUST be enrolled at Harper College the semester in which you will receive this award or you will not receive the award in its entirety.

    How will you use your experiences (past and future) to encourage others to pursue a career in the sciences?
    How do you view the role of science in society and how do you see yourself contributing to that in the future?
