Educational Foundation Scholarships: Apply for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 scholarships starting on February 16, 2026!

Who can apply?

• Any Degree or Certificate seeking student at Harper College.

• Adult students, undocumented students, and international students are all eligible to apply.

• Current Harper students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution in 2026-2027 should also apply!

Step 1: Complete the Educational Foundation Scholarship Application

Click the ‘Sign In’ button on the top right-hand corner. Click the “Sign-in with your institution’ button and log in using your MyHarper Portal username and password, if you are not already logged in. You will be automatically directed to the Scholarship Application. You must have a current admissions application on file with Harper College and a program of study declared to apply for scholarships.

Once you are in the system, you can submit your Scholarship Application. You will be automatically considered for over 200+ scholarships for which you meet the criteria. There is nothing else you have to do after you submit your application.

Step 2: Additional Scholarship Opportunities

Based on your answers to your application you may be recommended to apply to other opportunities. These are called “Apply-To” scholarships because you must answer the supplemental questions and/or include references to be considered for these scholarships. There are only 15 – 20 Apply-To Opportunities available since ALL other scholarships are awarded using the General Scholarship Application. If you are not recommended any opportunities, do not worry since the majority are “Auto-Match” through the General Scholarship Application.

Dates to Keep in Mind:

• February 16, 2026: A new scholarship cycle opens for the following Fall and Spring semester.

• March 20: Priority deadline for current/returning Harper students who submit their completed application by this date.

• May 1: Priority deadline for new incoming Harper students who submit their completed application by this date.

Only students who receive scholarships are notified through email. Scholarship recipients will need to accept and submit a post-acceptance questionnaire. If you have not received an email, you have not been awarded a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded throughout the academic year. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be asked to attend a Scholarship Orientation, write a Valentine’s Day card, record a short video to your donor, and attend our end of the year event, Realizing Dreams, which connects recipients with their Scholarship donors.
