Polly's Kids Scholarship

*This scholarship is awarded to a student who meets the following criteria:

• 2 scholarships for a child age 3-5 (must be potty-trained) to attend Early Childhood Laboratory School of Harper College for Fall and Spring if they meet the criteria below:*
• Harper College students pursuing a certificate or degree
• Single parent
• Financial need determined by essay
• Enrolled in 8-9 credit hours for semester(s) receiving the scholarship
• Preference for Promise or previous Foundation scholarship recipient
• Preference for prior credits earned in program of study, either a certificate or degree program and /or completed ESL program

Distribution:

• 2 full scholarships for a child to attend Harper’s Child Learning Center.
• Student must enroll in 8-9 credit hours for the fall and spring semester he or she is receiving the scholarship.
• Scholarship is renewable the spring semester if the student achieves a 2.75 GPA in the fall semester.
• Non-renewable. Scholarship is only good for one year to increase the impact of the scholarship and to have measurable results.

The scholarship covers childcare for Fall and Spring. The childcare lab is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm. You will receive all forms, rules, policies, and calendar with the dates the childcare center is closed from the Manager at the Early Childhood Laboratory School. Payment is made directly from the Foundation to the Early Childhood School.
